Ben joined the Law Offices of Sonja B. Selami in the December of 2020. Prior to that, Ben owned his own law firm for 11 years, practicing various areas of law, including criminal defense, civil litigation, landlord-tenant housing, employment, and contract law. Ben was part of the Norfolk County Bar Advocates Program, representing indigent clients in court as a state contractor for over 8 years.
Ben brings a technical background to the firm, obtaining his Computer Engineering degree from Rutgers College of Engineering in 1998. Ben obtained his law degree from Northeastern University School of Law in 2009. Ben is also a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Ben enjoys music, playing and teaching piano and guitar, and performing in his acapella groups. He also enjoys spending time with his wife Sri, and his two sons, Shail and Avi, hiking, biking, and rock climbing.
