Akila started working at Selami Law as a summer intern in 2021 after graduating from Middlesex University in London, UK. After months of hard work, dedication and training, Akila joined the team as a paralegal assistant.
Akila has her paralegal certification from Boston University. She is also a paralegal in the U.S. Army Reserve where she provides support to unit commanders and the Office of the Staff Judge Advocate in a wide range of legal matters which include criminal, international, civil, contract and fiscal law.
Akila hopes to be a real estate attorney after finishing law school to further help clients through their special time of buying or selling a property. She believes Selami Law is the best place to receive hands on experience and high caliber training to make her goals come true.
